Children’s Dreams is a project with the sole mission of making the Christmas wishes come true for the children from families facing social and financial difficulty, and also children being raised in Children's’ Homes. The wishes of these children are collected and published onto this website.
We believe that every child deserves to receive a gift on Christmas day, and this is an opportunity to help the parents who are already struggling to make ends meet every day, and also to help out the Children’s Homes who have to be very mindful of how their money is spent, leaving little to be spent on gifts for everyone.
Ever since the beginning, lot of generous people have contributed; people who helped these children to receive the Christmas gift of their dreams. We would like to invite you to contribute to this project and fulfill the dreams of these children.
Children Dreams in Malta is an independent initiative launched by Lina Pecorella in 2013 in association with “Children’s Dream” project in Lithuania www.vaikusvajones.lt and operates in Malta in collaboration with Foundation for Social Welfare Services.
Children Dream’s also has a younger sister project called Nahseb Fik whose mission is to fulfill the Christmas Wishes of our elderly in Elderly Homes to make sure they are not forgotten.
Lina Pecorella is a Lithuanian mother of 2, who has been living in Malta since 2000 and was inspired by the ever growing number of charitable organisations and initiatives in her home country, and wanted to emulate some form of it here in Malta upon noticing there was a lack of such initiatives in Malta she decided to start up the project herself, which has successfully helped thousands of Children and also Elderly over the years.
Together we can make the world a better place for children.
Thank you for your kindness!
